Zeekr 7GT Electric Sedan Launched in Israel

Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle brand owned by Geely, has expanded its presence in Israel with the introduction of the new 7GT model. The 7GT is a four-door coupe sedan, described as a shooting brake, built on the same platform as the existing 7X SUV. It slots below the flagship 001 model in Zeekr's Israeli lineup, which also includes the 001 and the X.

The 7GT shares its powertrain options with the 7X, featuring a 50:50 weight distribution and V2L technology. The entry-level "Essence" trim boasts rear-wheel drive, 421 horsepower, and accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. It is equipped with a 75 kWh LFP battery offering a range of 519 km, a 22 kW internal charger, and fast charging capability up to 450 kW, reaching 80% charge in 11 minutes.

The "Long Range" version offers similar performance but with a larger 100 kWh NCM battery, extending the range to 655 km. It supports 420 kW fast charging, taking 15 minutes to reach 80% charge. The top-tier "Krypton" model features all-wheel drive, producing a combined 646 horsepower and achieving 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Despite its performance, it has a range of 558 km on the same 100 kWh battery.

All trims come with a comprehensive list of standard features, including a 13-inch digital cluster, a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, smartphone connectivity, OTA updates, remote control app, synthetic leather upholstery, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, heated steering wheel, electrically adjustable and heated rear seats, 360-degree cameras, automatic parking, dual wireless charging pads, a panoramic roof, acoustic front and rear windows, a premium sound system, ambient lighting, matrix LED headlights, and an electric tailgate. The vehicle has received a top 8 rating from the Ministry of Transport and a 5-star safety rating in European crash tests for 2026.

The "Long Range" adds an electrically adjustable steering wheel and offers a two-tone paint option for an additional fee. A launch package, priced at 16,000 shekels, includes Nappa leather, front seat ventilation and massage, a 13.5-inch augmented reality head-up display, and an upgraded 23-speaker sound system. The "Krypton" trim includes all these features, plus two-tone paint, air suspension, and Brembo brakes, resulting in a shorter stopping distance.

Pricing for the Zeekr 7GT starts at 192,000 shekels for the "Essence" model, 226,000 shekels for the "Long Range," and 270,000 shekels for the "Krypton." The vehicle comes with a 5-year/100,000 km warranty, with the battery and electric powertrain covered for 8 years/200,000 km. Service intervals are set at two years or 40,000 km, whichever comes first.
