Zeekr Launches 7GT Electric Station Wagon in Israel Starting at $192,000

Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle brand of Chinese automaker Geely, has officially launched its new 7GT electric station wagon in Israel. Despite the brand's positioning, the 7GT enters the market with a starting price of 192,000 shekels, making it more affordable than some smaller electric cars like the Tesla Model Y, Xpeng G6, and Smart 1, and even the Zeekr 7X crossover it is based on.

The 7GT is described as a "shooting brake" or a sporty station wagon, blending compact and station wagon elements with executive car dimensions. It measures 4.82 meters long, 2.07 meters wide, and 1.46 meters high, with a 20 cm reduction in height compared to the 7X. The cargo space is 456 liters in the rear and 65 liters in the front.

Zeekr promises European-level driving dynamics, featuring a multi-link rear suspension. The vehicle offers various configurations: the base "Essence" model starts at 192,000 shekels with 421 horsepower, rear-wheel drive, a 75 kWh battery, and a range of 519 km. The "Long Range" version, priced at 226,000 shekels, upgrades to a 100 kWh battery for a 655 km range. The top-tier "Krypton" model, starting at 270,000 shekels, features all-wheel drive with 646 horsepower, a 0-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds, a shorter range of 558 km, and advanced features like adaptive air suspension and a premium sound system.

All versions come with a 14.3-inch central touchscreen and active safety features including automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. The 7GT received a 5-star safety rating in European crash tests. Zeekr's importer in Israel, Geo Mobility, operates a branded charging network offering discounts to owners. The car also supports external device charging at 3.4 kW.
