ZEEKR X Updated Model Launches in Israel with Lower Entry Price and Enhanced Features

The updated version of the ZEEKR X, a compact premium SUV from Geely's ZEEKR brand, has begun sales in Israel, featuring a new, more affordable entry-level model alongside improvements in power and charging speed. Since its Israeli debut in January 2024, 3,024 units have been sold by mid-2026. The refreshed model, originally updated in its home market late last year, now offers stronger engines, faster charging, a refreshed central console, and software updates.

The new entry-level "Essence" trim is priced at 170,000 shekels, 15,000 shekels less than the previous entry-level LR version. It includes synthetic leather upholstery, electrically adjustable front seats with memory, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, an 8.8-inch instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch multimedia screen, front and rear parking sensors, surround cameras, wireless charging, panoramic roof, ambient lighting, a 13-speaker Yamaha sound system, electric trunk, and 19-inch wheels.

The updated ZEEKR X features a rear-wheel-drive powertrain with 340 horsepower, an increase of 68 hp, maintaining a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.6 seconds. It uses a slightly smaller 61 kWh LFP battery (down from 66 kWh NCM), reducing range to 405 km from 445 km, but significantly improves fast charging to 230 kW, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in just 15 minutes compared to 28 minutes previously. The previous 66 kWh battery option remains available with 150 kW charging and a quicker 0-100 km/h acceleration of 5.3 seconds.

The higher "Beyond" trim adds a 24.3-inch augmented reality head-up display, a smart B-pillar screen showing charging status and animations, and two-tone paint. Both trims share a comprehensive safety package rated 8 out of 8 by Israel's Ministry of Transport and 5 stars in European crash tests. Currently, the updated dual-motor "Krypton" version with 490 hp and 3.7-second acceleration is not offered in Israel.

The updated ZEEKR X aims to strengthen its market position in Israel by combining enhanced performance and technology with a more accessible price point for entry-level buyers.
