Audi Launches Third-Generation Q7 SUV in Israel Starting at 690,000 Shekels

Champion Motors, the official Audi importer in Israel, has begun marketing the third generation of the Audi Q7 large SUV. The new model, unveiled two months ago, arrives initially in Israel with a powerful 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine and two trim levels. Gasoline versions, including the 429-horsepower V6 and the sporty SQ7 with a 591-horsepower V8, are currently reserved for the American market and will not be available locally. However, plug-in hybrid variants may be introduced in the future.

The Q7 is built on Audi's Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) and maintains similar dimensions to its predecessor, measuring 5.06 meters in length, 2.01 meters in width, and 1.81 meters in height, with a 2.99-meter wheelbase. The cargo capacity ranges from 210 liters with all seats in use to 1,980 liters when all seats are folded down.

The diesel engine delivers 299 horsepower and 64.2 kgm of torque at 1,750 rpm, powering all wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 235 km/h. The vehicle weighs 2.42 tons. European markets also offer a mild-hybrid version of this engine, while the U.S. market features more powerful gasoline engines.

The Q7 is available in two trim levels. The base model includes a digital cockpit with an 11.9-inch instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch multimedia screen, plus a 12.3-inch passenger display, ventilated wireless charging pads, 3D surround cameras, heated and ventilated electric front seats with memory, four-zone climate control, acoustic windows, vacuum-sealed doors, matrix LED headlights, OLED rear lights, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, Bang & Olufsen sound system with 16 speakers, and 20-inch wheels.

The "Ultimate" package adds electric opening and closing for all doors, a head-up display, Nappa leather upholstery, upgraded seats with massage and ambient lighting, digital matrix headlights projecting turn signals onto the road, a 23-speaker upgraded sound system, and 21-inch wheels. Both trims feature air suspension, rear-wheel steering, automatic parking with memory, and a comprehensive safety system rated 8 out of 8 by the Israeli Ministry of Transport.

Pricing starts at 690,000 shekels for the base diesel Q7, while the Ultimate package is priced at 741,000 shekels. Deliveries are expected in the first quarter of 2027.
