Arab Mayor Contradicts Israeli Minister's Claim on Coalition Support
Muwid Al-Hayb, the Arab mayor of Tuba-Zangaria, has contradicted a statement made by Israeli minister Gadi Eisenkot regarding support from Bedouin local authority heads. Eisenkot's party had announced that these mayors declared their support for him.
However, Al-Hayb stated in an interview with Radio Al-Nass that Eisenkot's party's announcement was inaccurate. He clarified that no support was declared for Eisenkot, but rather that the mayors demanded the inclusion of the Ra'am party in the next government, and Eisenkot promised to do so.
