Man Charged with Firing at Home, Discarding Gun During E-Scooter Escape
Prosecutors have filed an indictment against a 23-year-old resident of Sakhnin accused of firing a weapon at a residential building in the city and then attempting to flee on an electric scooter. According to police, the incident occurred on August 28 at 2:00 AM when gunshots were heard in one of Sakhnin's neighborhoods. When the suspect spotted an approaching police vehicle, he fled on his scooter, discarding a loaded handgun during the escape. He was apprehended by police and Border Police forces following a pursuit.
