Ashdod Man Charged for Armed Shooting Near Residential Building and Escape on Motorcycle

The Israeli State Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against Shalom Almog Edri, a 21-year-old resident of Ashdod, for his involvement in a shooting incident near a residential building in his hometown. According to the indictment, at the beginning of July, Edri and another individual met at a designated location in the city. Edri disguised himself and his motorcycle before riding with the other person to Ha'atzmaut Street. The two arrived at a parking area near the building armed with a handgun. The second individual fired several shots, after which both fled the scene on the motorcycle. Edri faces charges including carrying and transporting a weapon, discharging a firearm in a residential area, and altering vehicle identity.
