Ashdod Man Indicted for Firing Gun Near Residential Building
The Israeli State Prosecution has filed charges against 21-year-old Shalom Almog Edri from Ashdod for his involvement in a shooting incident near a residential building in the city. According to the indictment, earlier this month, Edri and another individual arrived on a motorcycle to Ha'atzmaut Street, disguised themselves and the motorcycle, and went to a parking lot near the residential building armed with a handgun. The other individual fired several shots into the air before both fled the scene. Edri faces charges including carrying and transporting a weapon, firing a firearm in a residential area, and altering the vehicle's identity. The prosecution has requested his detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings and the confiscation of the motorcycle.
