IDF Chief of Staff: 'Discrediting Campaigns Against IDF Use Lies'

Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi stated that there are ongoing efforts to discredit the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and its soldiers, employing falsehoods and baseless manipulations. Speaking at an event honoring donors to the Association for the Soldier, Kochavi asserted, "The IDF is the most moral army in the world!"

He described these discrediting attempts as a national and international mission that must be confronted on all platforms. Kochavi emphasized that in light of deliberate attacks on Israeli civilians, including raids against civilian populations and missile launches targeting cities, the IDF remains committed to its values and international law.

Kochavi further highlighted that Israeli forces are making every effort to avoid harming innocent civilians, even while engaged in combat against adversaries who intentionally target civilians. He invoked the principle "All of Israel are responsible for one another" to underscore the collective responsibility to protect the nation.
