IDF Chief of Staff Slams Film Creators as 'Lies and Baseless Manipulations'
Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi strongly condemned the creators of the film 'N.Z.A.', labeling their work as "baseless lies and manipulations" aimed at smearing IDF soldiers and commanders. Speaking at an event honoring donors to the Association for the Soldiers, Kochavi stated that such attempts to tarnish the military's image are a "national and international mission" that must be countered.
Kochavi asserted that the IDF is "the most moral army in the world" and directly addressed critics, saying, "To all our hypocritical critics, who preach sterile morality far from danger, I say: You will continue to criticize, and we will continue to fight."
The Chief of Staff invoked the Jewish concept of "All of Israel are responsible for one another" to emphasize the individual's duty to the collective, linking it to the need to defend the army's reputation against what he described as slanderous efforts.
