IDF Chief of Staff Slams Film Creators for 'Baseless Lies and Manipulations'

Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi strongly criticized creators of the film "Nezarim" (NZI), accusing them of using "baseless lies and manipulations" to tarnish the reputation of IDF soldiers and commanders. Speaking at an event honoring donors to the Association for the Soldier, Kochavi stated that attempts to slander IDF personnel reflect a national and international mission that must be countered.

Kochavi asserted that the IDF is the most moral army in the world, emphasizing its adherence to international law and its efforts to avoid harming innocent civilians, even in the face of deliberate attacks on Israeli citizens, barbaric raids targeting civilian populations, and missile launches at cities.

He invoked the Jewish concept "Kol Yisrael Arevim Zeh Bazeh" (All of Israel are responsible for one another) to highlight the collective responsibility to defend the nation and its soldiers. The Chief of Staff vowed to confront all accusers on every platform, unequivocally stating the IDF's moral standing.

In a related development, Rabbi Lau commented on the film's creators, stating they "endanger the lives of Jews all over the world."
