Man Fatally Shot in Jaffa, Suspect Arrested
A young man identified as Yassin Dakka was killed in Jaffa on Tuesday evening after being shot on Rubinstein Street. He sustained critical injuries from gunfire and was rushed to Wolfson Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead after attempts to save his life failed.
Large police forces and forensic investigators from the Tel Aviv District cordoned off the crime scene, collecting evidence and launching a widespread search for suspects. The investigation into the circumstances and motives of the shooting has begun.
In a related development, police in Jaffa arrested a suspect in his twenties in the Ayalon area, believed to be involved in the incident. The suspect has been transferred to the Tel Aviv District Central Unit for further investigation.
