Israeli police have opened an investigation into a suspected murder in Jaffa after a man, believed to be in his 30s, was shot and killed. The incident occurred on Rubenstein Street. The victim was transported to Wolfson Medical Center, where his death was pronounced.
Law enforcement officers from the Tel Aviv district are currently conducting searches for suspects and gathering evidence at the scene. This shooting follows another fatal incident in Jaffa less than 48 hours prior.
Approximately two weeks ago, a young man named Mohammed Rafat Ahmed Katwan from Jaljulia was fatally shot on Leib Ben Sarah Street. In that same incident, a 20-year-old man was seriously injured and found nearby on Rabbi Me'lilov Street. Magen David Adom (MDA) received the initial report at 1:11 AM, finding Katwan deceased upon arrival. Six minutes later, MDA received a report of the injured youth, who was conscious and in serious condition, and he was evacuated to Wolfson Medical Center.
