Bnei Yehuda Signs Brazilian Winger Jônathas for Over $200,000

Israeli football club Bnei Yehuda announced Tuesday the signing of 21-year-old Brazilian winger Jônathas Abimael da Silva Conceição from Moldovan top-tier side Zimbru Chișinău. The transfer fee, exceeding $200,000, makes Jônathas the most expensive acquisition since Aliren Ovied became club owner.

Standing at 1.83 meters with a strong left foot, Jônathas primarily plays as a right winger. He began his football career in Brazil with Agia de Comarou before moving to Zimbru Chișinău.

Jônathas started the current season in strong form, scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists in 13 appearances across all competitions, including a goal in the Conference League qualifiers. In his final match for Zimbru, the league leaders in Moldova, he scored and assisted in a victory.
