Bnei Yehuda Nears Signing of Striker Klei from Hapoel Petah Tikva
Following the acquisition of Ilai Almukais, Israeli football club Bnei Yehuda is reportedly close to signing another significant player, Klei, from Hapoel Petah Tikva. Sources indicate that advanced negotiations are underway for the forward, who previously shone in the National League two seasons ago. Bnei Yehuda, aiming for promotion, hopes Klei will become a key contributor to their campaign.
Hapoel Petah Tikva acquired Klei last season from Kfar Shalem for NIS 550,000 and made him their highest earner at $12,000 per month. Last season, Klei scored five goals and provided five assists. Despite his previous contributions, his status within the team has reportedly diminished, making his departure likely this season.
If the transfer is completed, Klei would become Bnei Yehuda's third foreign player, joining Emmanuelle Apoaka and Hugo de Flores. The club is actively seeking to strengthen its squad as it competes for a return to the top league.
