Bnei Yehuda Nears Signing of Hapoel Petah Tikva's Klay

Following the acquisition of Ilai Almakiis, Israeli football club Bnei Yehuda is reportedly close to signing another player, Klay from Hapoel Petah Tikva. Sources indicate that negotiations are in an advanced stage for the transfer of Klay, who is seen as a potential key player in Bnei Yehuda's promotion campaign.

Hapoel Petah Tikva had purchased Klay from Kfar Shalem last season for 550,000 NIS. He became the team's highest earner, with a monthly salary of $12,000, the highest in the squad. Last season, Klay scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists, but his role has diminished, making his departure likely.

Bnei Yehuda currently has two foreign players, Emmanuel Appau and Hugo de Flores. If Klay joins, he would become their third foreign player.
