Bnei Yehuda Signs Brazilian Winger for Club Record Fee

Israeli football club Bnei Yehuda announced Tuesday the signing of 21-year-old Brazilian winger Jonathas Avimel da Silva Conceição from Moldovan top-tier side Zimbru Chișinău. The transfer fee exceeds $200,000, making Jonathas the most expensive signing since Aliren Oved became the club's owner.

Jonathas, who stands at 1.83 meters tall and is left-footed, primarily plays as a right winger. He began his football career in Brazil with Águia de Marabá before moving to Zimbru Chișinău.

He started the current season in strong form, scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists in 13 appearances across all competitions for Zimbru, including a goal in the Europa Conference League qualifiers. In his most recent match for the Moldovan league leaders, he scored and assisted in a victory.
