Maccabi Haifa Signs Portuguese Winger Pedro Brazão
Portuguese winger Pedro Brazão has arrived in Israel to finalize his transfer to Maccabi Haifa. The 23-year-old player, who joins from Turkish club Bodrum, is expected to undergo medical tests before signing a three-year contract with an option for an additional season. The deal is reportedly worth €700,000, a significant reduction from Bodrum's initial demand of €2 million earlier in the transfer window, as European transfer windows began closing.
Brazão's contract with Maccabi Haifa will see him earn approximately €400,000 per season, with his salary increasing annually. He will also be eligible for various bonuses. The player is set to get his first taste of the Israeli club's atmosphere when he attends Saturday's match against Hapoel Petah Tikva at Sammy Ofer Stadium. Maccabi Haifa aims to return to winning ways after a recent loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
