Apple Bundles TV+ and Arcade Services with iCloud+ in Israel
Apple is significantly enhancing its iCloud+ subscription service in Israel by including Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade at no additional cost. This move aims to provide substantial added value to subscribers, even on the most basic iCloud+ plans, making it a highly competitive offering in the local digital market.
The expanded subscription grants users full access to Apple's acclaimed content library, featuring award-winning series like "Ted Lasso" and "Severance," as well as Oscar-winning films. Gamers will also benefit from over 200 titles on Apple Arcade, all free of ads and in-app purchases, including popular games such as "Football Manager 26 Touch" and "NBA 2K26."
In addition to streaming and gaming, the enhanced package includes Apple Music Select, offering ad-free personalized radio stations, and the Apple Invites app. These entertainment benefits are combined with existing iCloud+ security features like Private Relay for encrypted browsing, Hide My Email, a custom email domain, and HomeKit security camera support. The entire package can be shared with up to five family members without increasing the subscription price.
Eddy Cue, Apple's Senior Vice President of Services and Health, stated, "We are excited to bring Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in over 100 countries in one convenient subscription." He added that users can now securely store and share content, enjoy Apple TV originals, and explore a vast array of games through Apple Arcade.
This initiative is part of a global strategy targeting over 100 developing and price-sensitive international markets, notably excluding the US and Western Europe. Previously, accessing these services required a separate subscription or the more expensive Apple One bundle. By integrating them into the iCloud+ storage subscription, even the 50GB basic plan, Apple seeks to increase exposure to its original content. The new features are automatically activated for existing iCloud+ subscribers, requiring only the download of the respective apps on Apple devices.
