Maccabi Haifa Secures Pedro Brazão for Bargain Transfer Fee
Israeli football club Maccabi Haifa has acquired 23-year-old player Pedro Brazão for a transfer fee of 700,000 euros. This amount represents only 35% of the original asking price for the player at the beginning of the transfer window, leading the club to consider it a bargain. Brazão, who scored and assisted in his debut match, has signed a three-year contract with an option for an additional year. His annual salary is reported to be around 400,000 euros.
Brazão's debut performance marked his first goal and assist in a single game in over a year. Previously, he achieved this feat in the Turkish second division against Adana Demirspor. His career includes playing in Portugal's youth leagues before moving to Lausanne and Bodrumspor.
