Maccabi Haifa Secures Pedro Brazão for Bargain Transfer Fee
Maccabi Haifa has signed 23-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder Pedro Brazão on a three-year contract with an option for an additional year. Brazão made an immediate impact in his debut, scoring and assisting, a performance that has generated significant excitement among fans.
The transfer fee paid by Maccabi Haifa is reported to be approximately 700,000 euros, a figure described as a bargain. This amount represents only 35% of the initial asking price for the player at the beginning of the transfer window.
Brazão's new contract includes an annual salary of around 400,000 euros. His debut performance, featuring both a goal and an assist, marked the first time he achieved this feat in over a year, with his last similar performance being against Adana Demirspor in the Turkish second division last season.
Prior to joining Maccabi Haifa, Brazão played in Portugal's youth leagues before moving to FC Lausanne-Sport and later Bodrumspor.
