Maccabi Haifa Secures Pedro Brazão for Bargain Transfer Fee
Israeli football club Maccabi Haifa has signed 23-year-old player Pedro Brazão for a transfer fee of 700,000 euros. This amount represents only 35% of the original asking price for the player at the beginning of the transfer window, leading to speculation that the club secured a bargain.
Brazão, who scored and assisted in his debut match, has signed a three-year contract with an option for an additional year. His annual salary is reported to be around 400,000 euros.
This debut performance marked the first time Brazão had scored and assisted in the same game in over a year. His previous notable performance of this kind was against Adana Demirspor in the Turkish second division last season.
Brazão has a history of playing in Portugal's youth leagues before moving to Lausanne and later Bodrumspor.
