Police Find Drugs Worth Hundreds of Thousands of Shekels in Spare Tire
Northern District Police officers arrested a 19-year-old man from Shagav Shalom on Highway 6 over the weekend during an initiative operation. During a search of his vehicle, officers discovered a black bag hidden inside the spare tire.
The bag contained over six kilograms of suspected hashish, with an estimated street value of hundreds of thousands of shekels. The suspect was taken into custody for questioning.
His arrest was extended by the Nazareth-Illa Magistrate's Court until September 17. Police stated that they will continue to combat crime using all available means.
