Israeli Journalist Slams Colleagues for Praising Film Without Watching

Yaron Avraham, a reporter for Channel 12 News, has publicly criticized colleagues and others who are quick to praise and share the film "Nez" without having seen it. He questioned why their default position as Israelis is to believe the "other side," suggesting a potential desire to adopt a contrarian stance against the Israeli establishment, even if it lacks factual basis.

He specifically addressed the film's portrayal of the IDF as a "murderous war machine" indifferent to civilian casualties, noting that it fails to mention the October 7th attacks. Avraham emphasized that a meaningful discussion about the film should only commence after viewing it, urging those who are already applauding it to reflect on the reasons for their premature identification with its narrative.
