Hassidic Leaders Mark High Holy Days with Prayer and Community Gatherings

Hassidic communities across Israel and Europe marked the High Holy Days with extensive prayer services and gatherings. In Netanya, thousands of Sanz Hassidim celebrated Rosh Hashanah with their Rebbe, with the Rebbe offering a collective blessing due to the large crowd. During the Torah reading, he offered prayers for the recovery of several other Hassidic Rebbes, including those from Vizhnitz, Belz, and Boyan.

In Bnei Brak, several Rebbes performed the ancient custom of annulling vows at the end of the Hebrew year, ensuring a clean slate for the new year. These ceremonies involved prominent Hassidic elders and rabbinical judges. Meanwhile, the new main prayer hall at the "Beit Yitzchak" Yeshiva in Telzstone was inaugurated on the eve of Yom Kippur, doubling the size of the previous hall.

Across Europe, thousands of Hassidim gathered in Antwerp, Belgium, for Selichot prayers led by the Pshevarsk Rebbe. In Ukraine, a 7-year-old Israeli boy who went missing in Uman was found and reunited with his family. A birth also occurred near Rabbi Nachman's tomb in Uman, with both mother and child reported in good condition.

The Modzitz Rebbe was hospitalized on the first night of Rosh Hashanah due to a heart condition but insisted on leading prayers the following morning. He is currently recovering, and the community is praying for his full recovery. The Belz Rebbe was also released from the hospital after a successful treatment, with prayers continuing for his complete healing.

Other events included a visit by the Nadvorna Rebbe to his community in Kiryat Gat, the Sanz-Klausenburg Rebbe returning to the United States after a visit to Israel, and a special gathering for children of the Rachmastrivka Rebbe's grandson. Hassidim of Tolded Anarhn raised millions for their institutions and held a celebratory event in Meron.
