Liverpool have officially announced the signing of Victor Muñoz from Osasuna after triggering his €40 million release clause. The 22-year-old Spain international is the club’s first signing under Andoni Iraola.
Muñoz is a left winger who can also operate as a defender, and Liverpool had been looking for cover at left back after Andrew Robertson left the club. Across all competitions last season, he scored seven goals and added five assists.
Real Madrid will receive about €20 million from the deal. Muñoz is set to sign a contract running until 2032.
Liverpool described him as a fast player who can fit well in Iraola’s system. The move was reported on June 18, 2026, at 21:11.
