Liverpool have officially completed the signing of Victor Munoz from Osasuna after triggering his €40 million release clause. The 22-year-old Spain international becomes the club’s first signing under Andoni Iraola, and he has agreed a contract through 2032.
Munoz is a left winger who can also operate as a left back, giving Liverpool cover in a position where they were looking for backup after Andrew Robertson left the club. Across all competitions last season, he scored seven goals and added five assists.
The deal also benefits Real Madrid, which is expected to receive about €20 million from the transfer. Liverpool described Munoz as a fast player who can fit well in Iraola’s system.
