Three Men Found Dead in Burned Car Between Baqa al-Gharbiyya and Jat

Israeli police discovered the bodies of three men inside a car that had been set ablaze in an open area between the towns of Baqa al-Gharbiyya and Jat in the Triangle region early Sunday. Police stated that the identities of the deceased are not yet known, but initial investigations suggest a criminal motive. The victims' bodies were found in the back seat of the burnt vehicle. No suspects have been arrested, and a large police force, including a helicopter, has been deployed to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the incident.

Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the location after receiving a report via emergency services. After extinguishing the fire, they found the three men inside with no signs of life and pronounced them dead at the scene. MDA paramedics described finding a burning car and, after the fire was put out, discovering three unconscious men without a pulse or breathing.

The incident occurred amidst a recent surge in shooting incidents across various areas. Earlier on Saturday night, a 17-year-old girl sustained serious injuries from a shooting in the Negev and was transported to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva. Separately, in Umm al-Fahm, a man in his 40s was seriously injured and another in his 30s lightly injured in a shooting incident; both were taken to HaEmek Hospital in Afula. Additionally, a 14-year-old boy was seriously wounded in a shooting in Kafr Kanna, which is being investigated as criminal, and a 16-year-old boy suffered serious injuries from a shooting in Jaljulia.

According to available data, 173 people have been killed in the Arab community in Israel since the beginning of the year, amid ongoing escalating violence and shooting incidents.
