Three Men Found Dead in Burned Car in Central Israel
Three men were discovered dead inside a burning car in an open area near the town of Baqa al-Gharbiyye in the Sharon region early Sunday morning. Police forces are currently searching the area for suspects, utilizing ground and aerial units. The commander of the Menashe region, Superintendent Roni Pares, was present at the scene.
Israeli Police stated that the identities of the deceased are currently unknown and that the incident is likely criminal in nature. Paramedics who arrived at the scene described finding the vehicle engulfed in flames and, after extinguishing the fire, discovering the three men unresponsive, without pulse or breathing, and pronounced them dead.
This incident brings the number of Arab Israelis murdered in 2026 to 176, according to preliminary figures. For comparison, 179 Arab Israelis were murdered during the same period last year, as reported by the Abraham Initiatives organization.
