Major Tire Fire Erupts Near Big Fashion Complex in Yarka, Evacuations Ordered
A large fire broke out in an open area near the Big Fashion shopping and entertainment complex in Yarka on Saturday, sending thick black smoke into the air. Firefighting forces battled the blaze, which involved burning tires, for several hours. Due to the intensity of the fire and strong winds, it spread towards nearby storage structures, prompting firefighters to use foam to contain the flames. Heavy machinery was also deployed to help dismantle tire piles. The police evacuated the Big Fashion complex, which was crowded with shoppers at the time, and closed nearby roads, urging the public to avoid the area. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. Fire officials confirmed that the blaze did not reach the Big Fashion complex itself or a nearby tire recycling plant. The circumstances surrounding the start of the fire are currently under investigation.
