Teenager Critically Injured in Kfar Kana Shooting Incident
A 14-year-old boy sustained serious, penetrating injuries after being shot in the town of Kfar Kana on Tuesday. Emergency services were alerted around 5:09 PM when the boy was taken to a local clinic. Paramedics provided initial treatment before transporting him via intensive care ambulance to the Nazareth English Hospital, where his condition was described as serious.
"We saw the boy in a confused state of consciousness, apparently injured in a violent incident. He had penetrating wounds in his body, so we provided him with medical treatment and transported him by intensive care vehicle to the hospital, while his condition was serious," said senior Magen David Adom paramedics Jamal Suleimani and Anas Shehadeh.
The police have opened an investigation into the shooting incident. Officers arrived at the scene and initiated searches to identify suspects and determine the circumstances of the event. Police stated that the background of the incident is criminal and that the surrounding circumstances are still under examination.
