Teenager Critically Injured in Negev Shooting Incident
An 18-year-old woman sustained serious and unstable injuries after being shot in the Negev region. Paramedics from the Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service encountered the victim near the Idan HaNegev junction on Highway 40. She was immediately transported to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva for urgent medical treatment.
According to MDA paramedic Dana Levittin, the young woman was disoriented and had a penetrating wound. "We immediately provided her with life-saving field medical treatment, including stopping the bleeding and administering medication, and quickly evacuated her to the hospital where her condition is classified as serious and unstable," Levittin stated. The incident is being treated as a criminal shooting.
