Teenager Critically Wounded in Shooting Incident in Negev
A young woman, approximately 18 years old, was shot in the Negev region and transported to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva in serious condition. Earlier, she received initial treatment from a Magen David Adom (MDA) team near the Idan HaNegev interchange on Highway 40.
"She was conscious but confused, with a penetrating wound," recounted MDA paramedic Dana Levitin. "We provided life-saving medical care, including stopping bleeding and administering medication, and quickly evacuated her to the hospital, where her condition was defined as serious and unstable."
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently under investigation.
