צעירה בת 18 נפצעה קשה מירי שאירע בנגב, ופונתה לבית החולים סורוקה בבאר שבע. צוותי מד"א העניקו לה טיפול ראשוני סמוך למחלף עידן הנגב בכביש 40, שם אותרה כשהיא בהכרה מעורפלת וסובלת מפציעה חודרת.

פרמדיקית מד"א, דנה לויטין, סיפרה כי הצעירה קיבלה טיפול רפואי מציל חיים שכלל עצירת דימומים וטיפול תרופתי, לפני שפונתה במהירות לבית החולים. מצבה מוגדר קשה ולא יציב.
