Maccabi Tel Aviv Reaches Agreement for Cameroonian Winger Morgan Boukélé
French media reports indicate that Cameroonian winger Morgan Boukélé, 22, has finalized his transfer to Maccabi Tel Aviv. Boukélé is reportedly already en route to Israel after being absent from training and matches with his current club, Metz, for several days.
Maccabi Tel Aviv had previously submitted an offer for the player. Negotiations faced significant hurdles, but a breakthrough has now been achieved between the Israeli club, the current cup holder, and the French team. Boukélé had not been part of Metz's plans for some time, and his move to Israel marks his first experience playing outside of France.
Boukélé began his career in Metz's youth system before joining the senior team two years ago. He had two loan spells in lower French leagues before this transfer.
