Maccabi Tel Aviv Reaches Agreement for Cameroonian Winger Morgane Bakouke
Maccabi Tel Aviv has finalized the transfer of Cameroonian winger Morgane Bakouke from French club FC Metz. The 22-year-old player is reportedly en route to Israel after being absent from Metz's recent training sessions and matches.
The Israeli club had previously submitted an offer for Bakouke, and despite significant difficulties in negotiations, a breakthrough was achieved between Maccabi Tel Aviv and FC Metz. Bakouke has not been part of Metz's plans for some time, and his move to Maccabi Tel Aviv marks his first professional experience outside of France.
Bakouke began his youth career at Metz and was promoted to the senior team two years ago. He had two loan spells in lower French leagues before this transfer. The deal was reported by Sport 5 and French media outlets.
