Maccabi Tel Aviv Finalizes Signing of Cameroonian Winger Morgane Bakouke
Israeli football club Maccabi Tel Aviv has reached an agreement to sign Cameroonian winger Morgane Bakouke from French club FC Metz. The 22-year-old player is reportedly on his way to Israel after being absent from Metz's training sessions and matches for several days.
Maccabi Tel Aviv had previously submitted an offer for Bakouke, and despite significant difficulties in negotiations, a breakthrough was achieved between the Israeli club and the French team. Bakouke has not been part of Metz's plans for some time, making his transfer to Maccabi Tel Aviv his first experience playing outside of France.
Bakouke began his career in Metz's youth system before joining the senior team two years ago. He had two loan spells in lower French leagues before this move to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
