Maccabi Tel Aviv Negotiates Signing of Cameroonian Winger Morgan Boukélé
With one week remaining in the transfer window, Maccabi Tel Aviv has entered negotiations to sign Morgan Boukélé, a 22-year-old winger from FC Metz in the French second division. Boukélé, born in Lyon but holding Cameroonian citizenship, is a versatile attacking player who primarily operates on the left wing but can also play on the right and in other offensive positions. He is currently under contract with Metz until 2028, and his market value is estimated at €900,000.
Boukélé began last season with Metz when they were in the top French league, making 10 appearances. He was loaned to Dunkerque in the winter, where he scored one goal and provided one assist in 12 games. This season, he has played only 8 minutes for Metz in the second division.
