Arab Community Forum Participates in Annual Pilgrimage to Prophet Shiblān's Shrine

The 'Azwatna Forum' in the Arab community participated in the annual pilgrimage to the shrine of Prophet Shiblān, located in the village of Kfar Yasif. The event was attended by religious leaders, community figures, intellectuals, writers, artists, institution directors, and guests from various faiths and denominations.

The forum honored the memory of the late Nour al-Din Shanan, also known as 'Abu Jaber,' who was recognized for his decades of service to the community, his efforts in social reform and civil peace, and his renowned generosity. His home and diwaniya (reception area) were known as open spaces for guests, fostering love and brotherhood.

'Azwatna Forum' extended its gratitude to Abu Jaber's sons and family for hosting a celebratory lunch in honor of the forum members and guests, continuing their father's tradition of hospitality. Sheikh Akram Sawaeed, president of the 'Azwatna Forum' and a World Peace Ambassador, conveyed greetings and encouraged the continuation of Abu Jaber's legacy of generosity and community service.

Sheikh Sawaeed also presented Abu Jaber's sons with a certificate of appreciation for their dedication to upholding their father's values and maintaining the tradition of gathering people through kindness and goodwill. He praised Abu Jaber's positive attributes and his role in bringing together diverse members of society.

The forum concluded by extending congratulations to all attendees and wishing for continued health, peace, and unity, emphasizing the importance of such gatherings in fostering connection and brotherhood. They prayed for the soul of the late Nour al-Din Shanan and for blessings upon his family.
