Poll Shows Likud Declining, National Unity Party Leading

A new poll published by the Hebrew newspaper "Maariv" indicates a significant drop for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party, which has fallen to 19 seats. Despite this, the current government coalition is projected to gain three seats compared to the previous week's poll, largely due to the "Amcha Israel" party, led by Ofer Winter, surpassing the electoral threshold. The survey was conducted by the Lazar Research Institute, headed by Menachem Lazar, in collaboration with Panel4ALL.

The poll results show "Yisrael Beiteinu" (Israel Our Home) leading with 25 seats, followed by Likud at 19. Other projected seat allocations include "B'Yachad" (Together) with 14 seats, "HaDemocratim" (The Democrats) with 10, "Yisrael Beiteinu" with 9, "Otzma Yehudit" (Jewish Power) with 8, "Yahadut HaTorah" (United Torah Judaism) and "Shas" each with 7 seats. The Joint List and the United Arab List are projected to receive 7 and 5 seats respectively. "HaTzionut HaDatit" (Religious Zionism) is expected to secure 5 seats, and "Amcha Israel" is projected to win 4 seats.

The survey was conducted on Wednesday and Thursday, with 4,329 individuals invited to participate. A total of 601 respondents, aged 18 and above, from both Arab and Jewish communities, completed the survey. The margin of error for the poll is 4%.
