Netanyahu Prays at Western Wall Ahead of Rosh Hashanah

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem hours before the start of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Accompanied by Mordechai (Sully) Eliyav, the CEO of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Netanyahu offered personal prayers for the coming year.

During his visit, the Prime Minister recited a chapter of Psalms and prayed for the success of the State of Israel, the safety and well-being of IDF soldiers and security forces, and a good, peaceful, and blessed year for all Israeli citizens. The visit took place in a festive and spiritual atmosphere, amidst preparations for the holiday and a large influx of worshippers to the holy site.

Netanyahu specifically requested to pray for the nation and its citizens during this sensitive security and national period, acknowledging the challenges facing Israel. His visit to the Western Wall on the eve of Rosh Hashanah continues a tradition of public figures visiting and praying at the site for major Jewish holidays, particularly the High Holy Days.

The Western Wall Heritage Foundation noted that Netanyahu's prayers were dedicated to the peace of the country, its soldiers, security forces, and all its citizens.
