Netanyahu Prays for Soldiers at Western Wall Before Rosh Hashanah
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Western Wall on Thursday evening, hours before the start of Rosh Hashanah, to pray for the safety and success of Israeli soldiers and all citizens.
Accompanied by Mordechai (Suli) Eliyav, the CEO of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Netanyahu recited a chapter of Psalms at the ancient holy site. The visit, described as moving and solemn, took place at dusk, bridging the outgoing and incoming years.
During his prayer, Netanyahu focused on the significant security challenges facing Israel during these critical times. The visit was intended to convey a message of unity and deep faith at one of Judaism's most sacred locations, just before the holiday began.
