Administrator Detained for Violating West Bank Entry Ban
Tal Yinon Dardik was ordered arrested by the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court until the conclusion of legal proceedings, following his violation of an administrative order barring him from Judea and Samaria. The order was issued by the Central Command General, Avi Blot.
Dardik declared he would renew his struggle against administrative orders and informed his family and lawyers that he would go to jail rather than cooperate. "I will not cooperate with this draconian and offensive order," he stated, calling it a "struggle against the persecution of dozens of settlers."
An indictment was filed against Dardik for violating the order after he failed to appear twice daily to sign at the police station in Modi'in Illit.
