Pollster: Netanyahu's Likud Faces Uncertainty Amidst Shifting Right-Wing Support

Despite recent efforts by the Likud party, pollster Dr. Menachem Lazar believes that the "armored vehicles" have not yet significantly altered the seat projections. He points to considerable uncertainty within the right-wing bloc, where several parties are hovering around the electoral threshold. Lazar explained that the volatility in polls for parties like Hazikaron and Zehut stems from a small margin of error, causing them to fluctuate above and below the 3.25% threshold between surveys.

Lazar also addressed concerns within the right-wing camp, noting that Ofer Winter's party is precariously close to the threshold, making its stability and contribution to a potential right-wing bloc uncertain. Similarly, Religious Zionism-Zehut is in a precarious position. He indicated that most undecided voters, excluding those who served in reserves and Zehut supporters, are on the political right, intensifying pressure on the Likud regarding potential elections.

Regarding a report about a warning call from the UAE president to Prime Minister Netanyahu before October 7th, Lazar stated that current polling data does not show a significant impact on the Likud's seat count. He suggested that while such information might influence a few undecided voters, the public appears fatigued by the ongoing discourse, with most voters having already solidified their positions.

Lazar commented on the potential impact of small vote differences, recalling instances where parties like Yamina and Meretz narrowly missed the threshold due to small vote deficits. He also noted that while there was an expectation for Sagolovich's party to gain significant traction, this has not yet materialized, though it might take time. He added that Ra'am's support base, particularly among Bedouin voters in the south, makes it difficult to accurately poll, but the party appears stable overall.
