New Poll Shows Right-Wing Bloc Stable, Netanyahu Leads PM Race
A new poll released by Channel 14, conducted by NEXT DATA, indicates the right-wing bloc in Israeli politics maintains its strength, securing 63 Knesset seats, consistent with previous surveys. The left-wing bloc saw a slight decrease to 44 seats, while Arab parties collectively gained one seat for a total of 13.
The Likud party leads with 30 seats, down one from the last poll. Yesh Atid remains in second place with 22 seats. Shas holds steady with 10 seats, and the Democrats also reached 10 seats, gaining two. The Religious Zionism and Identity list, following their union, gained a seat to reach 8. Otzma Yehudit also gained a seat, reaching 8, as did the Hadash-Ta'al-Balad list. United Torah Judaism dropped one seat to 7.
Naftali Bennett's party, Yamina, saw a significant drop from 9 to 6 seats, while Yisrael Beiteinu remains at 6 seats. Ra'am secured 5 seats, just above the electoral threshold. The new "Am Israel" party led by Ofer Winter, though still below the threshold, increased its support to 3% from 2.7%. The "Economic Reservists" list garnered 2.1%.
The poll also assessed preferred candidates for Prime Minister. Benjamin Netanyahu was the choice of 52% of respondents, compared to Gadi Eisenkot at 28%, Naftali Bennett at 14%, and Avigdor Lieberman at 6%. When directly compared, Netanyahu led Eisenkot 56% to 44%.
The survey included 1057 adult respondents and was conducted on September 7, 2026. Data analysis was performed by Shlomo Filber.
