Herzliya Completes Comeback to Edge Eilat in Basketball League Cup
Bnei Herzliya staged a significant comeback to defeat Hapoel Eilat 101-98 in a Winner Cup basketball game on Wednesday. The victory for Herzliya came after trailing for much of the contest, ultimately securing the win in a dramatic fashion.
In another Winner Cup match, Hapoel HaEmek secured a narrow 77-75 victory over Maccabi Ramat Gan. HaEmek also faced a deficit for most of the game but managed to go on a decisive 14-3 run in the closing minutes to take the lead. Gil Beni of Ramat Gan had an opportunity to force overtime with a final shot, but missed a layup at the buzzer.
