Bnei Herzliya Promotes Four Youth Players to Senior Basketball Team

Bnei Herzliya basketball club announced the promotion of four youth academy graduates to its senior team on August 26, 2026. The new additions are Roee Solomon (18 years old, 1.88m), Kai Obziler (19 years old, 1.98m), Nitai Shalem (20 years old, 2.00m), and Amri Bilt (18 years old, 1.90m), all residents of Herzliya. Solomon signed for the upcoming season as a guard and will be part of the senior squad. Obziler and Shalem will also play for Maccabi Hod Hasharon in the national league under a dual registration arrangement. Bilt will participate both as a senior team member and as an age exception player for the club’s youth team.

The team’s coach, Yehou Orland, emphasized the strong connection between the senior team and the youth department in Herzliya. He expressed pride in supporting the development path for youth graduates and committed to providing them with the best professional framework. This move reflects the club’s strategy to integrate local talent into its top-tier basketball roster for the upcoming season in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
