Amith Gershon Signs Two-Year Deal with Bnei Herzliya Basketball Club

Bnei Herzliya announced on July 9, 2026, the signing of guard Amith Gershon to a two-year contract, marking their third acquisition this summer following Amit Menachem and Dusty Hannahs. Gershon, who recently left Netanya, expressed enthusiasm about joining what he described as a "family club" with a strong tradition of success in recent seasons. He also highlighted his excitement to compete in the FIBA Champions League this season and looked forward to connecting with the fans.

During the previous season with Netanya, Gershon averaged 12.3 points per game with a 40.6% three-point shooting percentage. He began his Israeli Premier League career in the 2018/19 season with Hapoel Be'er Sheva, where he was named Rookie of the Year. His career also includes stints with Jerusalem, Eilat, Hapoel Haifa, and Netanya.

Bnei Herzliya's coach, Yehou Orland, praised Gershon as one of the league's top guards, emphasizing his outside shooting as a key asset for the team this summer.
