Hapoel Eilat Opens Basketball Season at Home Against Bnei Herzliya
Hapoel Eilat will begin their basketball season tonight at 7:00 PM, hosting Bnei Herzliya in their first game of the Winner League Cup group stage. The team returns to the top league after a successful season in the National League, having been absent for two years. Approximately 800 fans are expected to attend the game, hoping for an opening victory.
The team has undergone significant changes, including the addition of eight new players and a new coach, Oren Aharoni, who previously played for the club. Several players from the previous season remain. Tzuf Ben Moshe, a standout player last season who also had a loan spell with Hapoel Jerusalem, has been named team captain. New signings include Ben Roina and Eliad Tal, along with Yuval Schneiderman, Daniel Rosenbaum, Aaron Weiler, Jabonte Hawkins, Brandon Lee, James Dickey, Kendall McCollum, and Bryant Crawford. All players are reported to be healthy and available for the match.
