Massage Therapist Suspected of Child Abuse Arrested After Years Abroad

Israeli police arrested a massage therapist at Ben Gurion Airport upon his return to Israel after years living abroad. The man is suspected of committing severe offenses against minors, allegedly exploiting his position under the guise of massage treatments. The investigation, which involved cooperation with authorities in Russia, the United States, and Spain, concluded with a prosecutor's statement indicating an indictment is forthcoming.

The allegations date back to incidents that reportedly occurred several years prior to a complaint filed in 2015. The suspect left Israel before the complaint was lodged and remained overseas for an extended period. He was apprehended immediately upon his arrival in Israel in August and subsequently transferred to the Zevulun police station for questioning.

During the investigation, law enforcement conducted inquiries abroad, including witness testimonies and legal proceedings, in collaboration with Russian, American, and Spanish authorities. The suspect's detention was extended multiple times throughout the investigation. With the investigation now complete, prosecutors are expected to file an indictment and a request for his continued detention until the legal proceedings conclude.
